I’m Sabrina Layman, and I appreciate that when you’re looking at this video and our website, you likely never thought you would need a family law attorney. But here at Brewe Layman, our job is to make your case the most important thing that we’ve done, because we realize that this is the only time that you may need a family law attorney, and we want to build our trust with you and make you feel as comfortable as you can during a pretty difficult process.

We’re pleased that you’re considering Brewe Layman as a possibility in terms of representation in your family law matter. In terms of distinguishing us from a variety of other folks who are out there in the marketplace, what we bring to the table is experience. Typically, what we like to do is set up a meeting where we can sit down and talk about your particular problem. To facilitate our understanding of your situation, what we suggest is you bring along to that meeting a variety of documents. We have those documents set forth on our website, which can be easily accessed. It helps us understand your situation if you can bring those in. If you don’t have them, we understand that, and we’ll work with you on it.

Our goal at the initial meeting that we set up with you is to provide you with a roadmap as to what the process is all about. You’re going to have lots of questions, and we’re going to provide answers to you. We’re going to give you a roadmap that explains how this works, and we’re going to take a look at likely outcomes and what possible results may be applicable to your situation.

We want to meet you, because the next steps are: come in, we’ll talk, we’ll ask you a whole bunch of questions, and we will be able to go out and get your tax returns. We’ll be able to get your bank statements, we will find your mortgage information — but just make the first step and walk in our door, and we’ll take care of you.
