ASHLEIGH B. HOLMES
“Every family is different, and every case is personal. My job is to show up with compassion, clarity, and respect—especially when emotions are running high.”

Ashleigh Holmes is an experienced family lawyer guiding clients through complex legal matters across King, Snohomish, Skagit, Whatcom, and Island Counties.
Ashleigh has guided clients through every stage of family law cases in King, Snohomish, Skagit, Whatcom, and Island Counties. Her experience includes parenting plans, child support, property division, asset and debt distribution, and spousal maintenance.
Ashleigh has advised clients on the facts needed to establish a committed intimate relationship and has had the heartwarming privilege of representing a father in a stepparent adoption. Her experience also includes supporting clients facing the challenges of domestic violence and substance abuse.
Deeply invested in the outcome of every case, Ashleigh approaches each client's situation with genuine care and personalized attention. She is a strong and compassionate advocate, known for treating everyone with kindness, respect, and professionalism, even in high-conflict, emotionally charged matters.
After earning her bachelor's degree from Texas A&M University in 2003, Ashleigh spent a decade working as an executive and personal assistant before pursuing a legal career. She earned her J.D. from the University of Washington School of Law in 2016, then sharpened her legal skills clerking at King County Superior Court and Division One of the Washington State Court of Appeals. In 2021, she began practicing family law.
Outside of work, Ashleigh is a proud homebody who finds joy in writing and diving into her ever-growing to-read and to-watch lists. She delights in discovering the exceptional in the mundane. Ashleigh can often be seen strolling with her beloved "land hippo," Zoey—a spirited, five-year-old rescued Staffy/Lab mix—through their favorite neighborhood locations.
